Many of  you may be struggling today.
You may feel that there is no sunshine to be seen.  I'm here to tell you that there IS!  There is ALWAYS sunshine above the rain!

Psalms 136:7-8
To Him who made the great lights, His love endures forever.
the sun to govern the day, His love endures forever.

Post from July...  Here Comes the Rain Again~

I'm usually a positive person for the most part, but current circumstances have rendered me incomplete, disappointed, and down right GLOOMY, fitting of the rain and black clouds.

But then I look around.  I capture the blessings all around, through the smallest of details.
I can't help but see that God is good, all the time!
You don't know what I'm going through, and I don't know what your going through, but I know how you feel...
*small
*abandoned
*not enough
*disappointed
*lost...

I know.
    But you can't give up!
You can't let the "rain" over take you!
You can't let the bad times FLOOD your life!
     Because God's got a plan!

The flooded creek.
God says in 2 Corinthians 12:9

"But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.  Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties.  For when I am weak, than I am strong."

"Here comes the rain?"
Well we just need a bigger umbrella!"

Xoxoxox,

Samantha

Struggles really do make you,
stronger,
better,
and the person
you were meant to be!

Don't forget what God has done for you today and every day.

Romans 5:3-5
Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.  And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”

My favorite wildflower is Chicory and I will tell you why...

For one reason,
it's my favorite color, (commonly known as Cornflower Blue.)

But the Chicory flower is so much more than a pretty face,
it's STRONG,
it's BRAVE,
and not afraid to GROW!

It grows anywhere,
in shade, in sun,
along roadsides, shallow dirt and gravel.
It withstands storms, floods, and scorching sun.

It's useful; cultivated for it's leaves, buds, and roots.

I want to be like the Chicory,
brave,
not afraid to grow,
useful...
I believe that God, creator of the Heavens and Earth, provides us with unlimited beauty and lessons in nature.

Have a blessed day!
